Osprey Compliance Collective / Website Information
Privacy Policy
Osprey Compliance Collective, LLC (“Osprey,” “we,” or “our”) respects the privacy of visitors, newsletter subscribers, and clients. This policy describes the information we collect through our website and associated communication and registration tools, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information you provide
When you sign up for our Rules & Realities newsletter, we collect your email address (required) and, if you choose to provide them, your first and last names. The signup form asks you to affirmatively agree to receive the newsletter, affordable housing regulatory updates, and training announcements.
When you contact us about training, consulting, policy development, or other services, we may receive your name, organization, email address, and any information you choose to share in your inquiry.
2. Newsletters and email communications
We use MailerLite to manage subscriptions and deliver newsletters, regulatory updates, and training announcements to people who have requested them. MailerLite processes subscriber information for these purposes on our behalf and may provide delivery, opening, click, and unsubscribe reports.
You may unsubscribe from marketing and newsletter emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in a message, or by emailing us at agross@ospreycompliancecollective.com. Unsubscribing from newsletters does not prevent necessary messages concerning an existing training registration or business engagement.
3. Training registration and outside forms
Some links on this website direct you to services operated by other providers, including online registration, meeting, or inquiry tools. Depending on the activity, those providers may collect information needed to process an event registration, payment, or request. We may receive registration or contact details necessary to administer the requested service.
The information you submit through a third-party site is also subject to that provider’s privacy notice and terms. Please review them before submitting payment or personal details.
4. Website usage, cookies, and technical information
Our website hosting, content-management, security, and embedded-form services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, dates and times of visits, pages requested, and error or security logs. These functions help operate and protect the website.
WordPress, WP Engine, MailerLite, and other enabled site services may use cookies or similar technologies for necessary site functions, security, or measurement. The technologies used can vary depending on the services active on the website. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although some functions may not work as intended if cookies are disabled.
5. How we use personal information
We use information to deliver communications you request; respond to questions; arrange and administer trainings or consulting engagements; maintain and protect our website and services; understand the usefulness of our communications; and meet applicable legal, accounting, and administrative requirements.
We do not add people to the Rules & Realities newsletter simply because they submit a consulting or training inquiry. Newsletter subscription is a separate, voluntary choice.
6. Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers to operate our business, such as website hosting and maintenance providers, MailerLite for email communications, and registration or meeting platforms when used for an event. They may process information as necessary to provide services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law or as necessary to protect our rights and the security of our services.
We do not rent or sell our newsletter subscriber list for third parties’ independent marketing. External websites linked from this site are governed by their own privacy practices.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide requested services, maintain our relationship with you, comply with applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements, or resolve legitimate disputes. Subscribers may withdraw from marketing communications at any time. Limited records may be retained as needed to document or honor an unsubscribe request.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You may request information about personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or request deletion, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention obligations. You may also ask questions about our use of your information or exercise other privacy rights available where you live.
Send requests to agross@ospreycompliancecollective.com. We may ask for enough information to reasonably verify that a request concerns your information before responding.
9. Information security
We take reasonable steps intended to safeguard personal information and use service providers that support the operation of our website and communications. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Children’s privacy
Our website and professional training services are intended for adults and professional audiences. We do not knowingly solicit newsletter subscriptions from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our website, please contact us.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services or applicable requirements change. The revision date shown at the top of this page identifies the latest published version. Significant changes may be communicated through this website or other appropriate channels.
