Our Mission

Compliance protects housing stability, preserves program integrity, and safeguards the residents these programs are designed to serve.

Osprey’s mission is to make compliance clearer, more practical, and more sustainable for the organizations and professionals responsible for implementing it. The end goal is always the same: supporting the residents who rely on these programs and helping ensure that affordable housing resources remain available for the long term.

We focus on building knowledge, strengthening systems, and supporting thoughtful decision-making across programs and funding layers so that housing providers can operate with confidence and programs can continue serving communities for years to come.

Experience

Osprey draws on decades of experience across the affordable housing landscape, including:

  • LIHTC

  • Layered funding environments

This experience spans training, policy development, program implementation, and advisory support for housing providers, agencies, and industry leaders nationwide.

How we work

Osprey approaches compliance as both a technical discipline and a responsibility to communities.

Our work emphasizes:

  • education that builds confidence
  • policies and procedures that function in practice
  • strategic guidance that supports long-term program stability
  • advocacy that promotes clarity and consistency within the regulatory framework

We believe strong compliance systems support strong housing programs.
